Burger Wellington is back on the Kāpiti Coast! Big burgers. Bold flavours. One very good reason to head up the Coast this August.

From 3–23 August 2026, Burger Wellington is taking over the region again and Kāpiti is bringing a seriously good line-up to the table.

This year’s Visa Wellington On a Plate theme is Word of Mouth, celebrating the dishes, places and food experiences people can’t stop talking about.

And really, that’s what Burger Wellington does best.

It gets people planning where to go next, debating the best burger in the group chat, swapping recommendations and discovering somewhere they might never have tried before.

Here on the Kāpiti Coast, you can make a day of it. Just 40 minutes from Wellington, your next great burger might be closer than you think.
