Paekakariki Playcentre are holding a comedy night (R18) with some of Wellington’s top comedians, as a fundraiser for a whānau trip to Kapiti Island, early in the New Year.

Rhian is an award-winning comedian whose storytelling has led him to two successful New Zealand tours and cruise ship performances.
Sera Devcich
Sera is known for her quick wit and no-holds-barred honesty. Winner of Best Comedian at the Welly Awards, she’s made her mark on shows like 7 Days, The Project, and the NZ Comedy Gala, as well as lighting up stages at top venues and festivals across the country. Sera’s comedy is fearless, clever, and always relatable, with stories drawn from real life that audiences can’t get enough of. Her energy and authenticity have earned her a cult following and a reputation as one of the most exciting voices in Kiwi comedy.
Fergus Aitken
Well known as ‘NZ’s Loudest Mime’ Mr Fungus, Fergus’s stand-up work has seen him headline and host numerous comedy clubs and corporate functions throughout Aotearoa. He’s also a Playcentre Dad again, what did you do during the lockdowns?
Li'i Alaimoana (Headline act)
Award-winning and 2017 Billy T Award Nominated stand-up comedian Li'i Alaimoana hails from the capital city. The New Zealand-born Samoan's performances abroad include a stint in Canada, and a tour of Australia. His musical comedy seduces while throwing comedic punchlines making him a favourite throughout New Zealand.
