Ronald McDonald House Variety Concert A lively showcase of talent and community spirit while supporting a great cause.

The popular Kāpiti Variety Concert returns to Southwards Theatre on Wednesday 15 April 2026, with performances at 2.30 pm and 7.00 pm. This year’s concert will raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities, which supports families when their child is in a hospital away from home.

Enjoy a vibrant line-up of local and national talent including Tina Cross ONZM performing with Australian musician John Bettison. The programme also features Andrew London, Sam Manzanza, Unity Wara, Steve Poulton, Carylann Martin, and the Big Little Uke Band, along with performances from students of Kāpiti, Paraparaumu and Ōtaki Colleges, and dancers from Sweet Studios.

Before the matinee performance, families can enjoy a range of activities on the lawn at Southwards, including children’s games, vintage car rides, and a fun “world-first” relay contest — making it a fantastic outing for all ages.

All proceeds from the event will support Ronald McDonald House Charities.
