Step into the heart of this much-loved park with a mix of activities and entertainment including:

  • Historic tram rides

  • Face painting and crafts for tamariki

  • Artisan Craft Market will be onsite with stalls and food trucks with delicious treats

  • Live performers Fairy Cat and her fairy friends will bring their magic.

Take time to explore on of Kāpiti's most iconic coastal parks, known for its WWII U.S. Marines Camp history and wetland restoration projects. Pack a picnic, relax by the beach, and make a day of it with family and friends!

Queen Elizabeth Park is also a hub for conservation. Greater Wellington, alongside mana whenua, partners, and volunteers, continues to protect freshwater and wetlands, restore native habitats, preserves the park's historic sites, and build resilience to climate change.
