Matariki on Moana returns to Kāpiti bringing together live music, kapa haka, local kai, coffee, markets, tā moko, art and clothing stalls in a vibrant celebration of the Māori New Year.
Held at Te Chur, 84 Moana Street, Ōtaki Beach, the event is just 45 minutes from Wellington and offers an easy coastal day out for visitors and locals alike.
Gates open at 10am, with whakatau and kapa haka from 11am before a headline music line-up featuring Tawaz, Hollie Smith and KORA. Enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere on the Kāpiti Coast, with adult tickets from $20 and free entry for under 18s.
