Māoriland Film Festival is Aotearoa's international Indigenous film festival and the largest celebration of Indigenous storytelling through film in the Southern Hemisphere.

Experience the world through Indigenous eyes, with over 100 films from Indigenous filmmakers worldwide, Māoriland Film Festival 2026 shines a light on stories that connect us to land, legacy and each other.

Beyond the screen, the festival comes alive with art exhibitions, interactive installations, industry events, and kōrero. Meet filmmakers, join conversations, and become part of a welcoming festival community that celebrates creativity and cultural exchange.

Don't miss the festival highlights, including the Red Carpet Party with special guest MELODOWNZ, feature and short film screenings, NATIVE Minds industry events, and the Toi Matarau annual exhibition.
